Review:

This was a fantastic one!  Growing up I thought the premise of this book looked a little boring so I figured I would skip it.  My teacher had a copy and would let people borrow books and I refused.  Granted at the time I was really into the Redwall books, but I do wish I had read it when I was Turtle’s age.  That being said, I don’t think reading at a particular age would add or take away from the enjoyment. 

In the beginning I was really struggling to keep each of the characters straight, but once I got a little further into it, it was well worth the investment.  The concept of “who did it?” was not done annoyingly like I have sometimes felt.  The puzzle was so good that I didn’t start to suspect the answer to the riddle until the very end!  The epilogue did make me cry, but in a good way.  All in all, this was a very refreshing, fantastic read that I would highly recommend.
