Review:

This is the book in the series where the action starts picking up again.  Raoul is the perfect knight for Kel and for those of us who have read all of the books in the Tortall realm, it’s awesome to see him as an adult.  This is where Kel really starts to learn what it is to be a female warrior and how to work with a variety of people.  Seeing her earn her way everywhere she goes is a theme in all the books, but I love her matter-of-fact approach.

Of course it couldn’t be TOTALLY without issues and watching Kel handle the orphan added another layer chaos to the mix.  Of course throughout it all, Kel handles it all and even finds a little time to learn what love might be.
