Review:

This was a really solid read! I found the concept of dreamslipping unique and interesting in its applications.  It was also refreshing to see the characters discuss the limitations of such a skill rather than having solution to the mystery conveniently come up in a dream.  The book had a lot going on and at times I found it slightly distracting.  There was so much being set up (presumably for future stories) that there were details that were introduced and then never brought up again.  Some of the setup in Seattle seemed a bit random as Cat ended up back in St. Louis.

Despite those observations, the book moved fast, had me laughing at a few points and had some twists at the end I wasn’t expecting.  I think Cat developed as a character and will become a bit stronger in future books in the series.
