Review:
As a tool for preparation to becoming sufficient at case interviews, this is a solid resource. If you’re looking for a book that gives insight into what it’s like to work for one of the many companies that mentioned in the synopsis it’s less useful. Victor Cheng comes off a quite full of himself. It may be justified to some degree, but it is tiresome to continuously hear him toot his own horn throughout the book.
The other item that is frustrating about this book are the continuous reminders that you can go to Cheng’s website and pay a few hundred dollars for one of his courses. I absolutely refused to pay for any of the resources, however I did utilize some of his strategies that he describes. Mixed feelings, but I would recommend the information going into interviews.
